Baby cakes was created in 2003 by Pastry chef Sarah Brigden. Sensing a shift towards individual cakes without compromising on quality was exactly what the Perth coffee scene needed. Many of the boutique cafes started filling up their shelves with our sublime delights and so the business grew.
Baby cakes now wholesale to numerous cafes, restaurants and catering venues all across WA, some of which we have been supplying since conception. Baby cakes now employs 10 staff, from Cake Makers, Cake Decorators to Delivery Driver.
Baby cakes create the most wonderful innovative celebration cakes for any occasion. Whether you are looking for a Princess cake for your Daughters 1st Birthday, Bob the builder for your Son, or a cup cake fantasy for your Wedding, Sarah and Cake Decorator Jennifer Hassen will create a cake especially for you. The baby cakes Sublime delights range is the best selection of fresh mini cakes and tarts you will find in Perth. From delicious Tiramisu tarts, mini White chocolate cheesecakes to Death by chocolate cake they are perfect for any special occasion. We can even customise them to tie in with your Party theme.
In 2007 Sarah started hosting cooking classes at Upper crust Catering. Proving to be a great success, Sarah is now teaching a range of classes at 4 different locations. Check out the cooking classes section for more information.
Baby cakes has recently aquired a couple of new Team members, Savannah Brigden was born in July 2007 and she is already showing signs of being interested in cakes (mainly eating at the moment!) Robert Montgomery (Monty) came on board as a business Partner in May 2008 and will be running the Baby cakes cafe which will be opening in September 2008 so come in, grab a coffee and meet Him!

SARAH HOSTS HER HANDS ON COOKING CLASSES AT MIRRABOOKA HOSPITALITY TRAINING CENTRE, SERIOUSLY THE BEST KITCHENS IN PERTH TO LEARN THE TRICKS OF THE TRADE. EACH PERSON HAS THEIR OWN WORKSTATION, EVERYTHING IS PROVIDED.
